Oral Health Monitoring and Check-ups
During a check-up visit, the overall condition of your mouth is evaluated, including teeth, gums, and bite alignment. You will receive a personalized treatment plan, which also includes brushing and care tips for home. Regular check-ups help prevent small problems from developing into larger ones, which could otherwise lead to more extensive and costly treatments.
Fillings
Fillings are used to repair cavities and damage that, if left untreated, could become more serious. Typically, a tooth-colored composite material is used, which blends naturally with your tooth. There is also an option of a ceramic filling, which is especially durable and aesthetically pleasing. This often requires two visits: shaping the tooth and taking an impression, then later fitting the custom-made ceramic filling.
Tartar Removal & Gum Care
Removing tartar helps prevent the buildup of biofilm and, in turn, prevents the development or worsening of gum disease.
Treatment of Symptoms and Trauma
A healthy mouth is usually symptom-free, but symptoms or injuries can still occur. Delaying treatment usually won’t improve the situation, so it’s best to have any problems checked by a dentist promptly. If you have strong dental anxiety despite symptoms, support and options are available.
Preventive Care
Brushing, dental floss, or interdental brushes and fluoride toothpaste are the foundation of preventive oral care. During the check-up, we will also look together at areas where improving home care may further slow down or prevent damage from progressing. In connection with the examination and basic dental care, we can also use measures such as fluoride varnish or sealants to stop early damage. Sometimes a dentist may recommend a stronger fluoride toothpaste to support home care.
